Hello TRLL families
We are excited to announce the restart to our 2020 season.
We want to thank everyone for your patience and understanding as we've navigated through these last few months. Little League Baseball is an important part of our children's lives, and at TRLL, we have been determined to remain patient, stay safe, and begin play only when our State and local governments, as well as our public health officials, determine it is safe to do so
The Toms River Little League (TRLL) Board of Directors has been working hard these last few weeks to finalize a plan to safely restart the season for those families who would like to continue to play this summer.
As you are aware the State of New Jersey has approved Little League Baseball to resume as of Monday, June 22nd with practices and competitive games as of Monday, July 6th. We understand that everyone has experienced this pandemic differently and the most important thing is the health and safety of our players, coaches, and families. TRLL fully supports and respects each families’ choices with the return to play.
Attached is our Program Participation Plan and Health Screening Questionnaire which is in line with state guidelines. Please review it for answers to many of your questions regarding shared equipment, cleaning protocols, facial coverings, and social distancing protocols.
Also attached is a COVID-19 Liability Waiver form that will need to be completed for each registered player and returned to their coach at the first practice.
We are asking that all of our TRLL players, coaches, and families respect and abide by these guidelines in order to help keep our league operational during this time.
Should you have any further questions or concerns after reviewing our Program Participation Plan and COVID-19 Liability Waiver please contact Executive Administrative Vice President/Safety Officer Brian Doyle at [email protected].
